Wednesday Book Talk: Flamingos on the Roof

Today’s Wednesday Book Talk is on Flamingos on the Roof, written and illustrated by Calef Brown. The AR level is 3.3 and it is worth .5 points. This book is a collection of 28 quirky poems and paintings about everything from a dog who likes to dress in plaid, to a flooded and soggy circus. The poems are silly and fun with illustrations to match! My personal favorite is Bob "the burly biker" who builds a motorcycle in a bottle.
