This week during our Wednesday book talk, we heard about Babymouse: Cupcake Tycoon. This whole series of graphic novels is by brother and sister team Jennifer and Matt Holm.Babymouse is a little accident prone, and this time she sets off the sprinklers in the beloved school library. With so many books ruined, the school decides to hold a fundraiser to replace them. Babymouse decides to win and quickly loses sight of what really matters. After many failed attempts, it begins to seem hopeless! How will Babymouse win? And is winning really that important after all?
